If it is just the outside, you could have dry skin down there (it does happen) or you could be having an allergic reaction to a new soap, laundry detergent, type of pad/liner, or scented pad/liner. If you've started using anything new of the things above, stop. If not dryness could be the issue. Use some non-glycerin lubricant, just a little, to moisturize the area. Make sure to wash well and let the area air at night.
If it is internal, and you have ruled out a yeast infection, then I'm not sure what you can do to help. Did you get checked for other infections also? If not I suggest going back to get checked for everything. If it's not a YI, do NOT use YI medication to stop the itching.

Sometimes another bacteria can over grow besides that which causes yeast infections. Over using yeast meds can actually make the other grow. Keep dry, try using cotton underwear stay away from thongs (not hygienic anyway) buy some feminine products. Worse comes to worse try using meds for jock itch or whatever a person might use on a baby. Don't use soaps w/perfumes and fragrance. Try using stuff suitable for people with sensitive skin and eczema.

You could try some Vagisil, but you really need to contact your doctor and tell him you are still itching. Is the yeast infection medication helping with the itch? You could have Vaginosis .
Now, you could have an allergic reaction to something like soap, body wash ( I had a reaction to perfumed body wash), laundry detergent, lotion, perfume even or maybe over douching.
Try to rinse your panties twice to get all the detergent out of them, use a more gentle soap or body wash, maybe use baby powder even and try the Vagisil. You really need to contact your doctor again.

It still may be yeast. My doctor told me that pretty much the only thing that causes itch down there is yeast...even around the bum area. Your dr can prescribe a cream to apply to the area(not inside the vagina). How do u clean? If you use soap, use a mild soap like Dove, and be sure it's all rinsed off. Using a harsh soap may leave u irritated. It's a delicate region. No bubble baths..no tight pants/undies... Eat lots of yogurt...supposed to be good for preventing yeast infections. Antibiotics sometimes cause yeast infections too.
Yeast loves moist areas...so be sure to dry the area. Especially the bum. Use hairdryer :) Honestly. And baby powder helps keep u dry...
hope this helps

Any change in your hygiene routine can cause irritation... New soap, shampoo, body lotion (esp applied to your legs), or other such things can seep into that area while you shower, or after you've dried off by "wicking" over your skin surface. Use of shaving creams and gels can also cause problems. Furthermore, as other ppl mentioned, a new laundry routine can cause trouble, even a broken machine if your clothes aren't rinsing properly. Try a little Vagisil anti-itch ointment, and in the meantime, try to figure out what's new that could cause the problem. Good Luck!

It could be a bacterial infection which has symptoms like a yeast infection. You would need to go back to the doctor and get a culture and medicine if it is. Good luck!

Don't know your age but if it's over 35 you may be just not well lubricated enough. Try some KY jelly...if the reaction is relief, that could be it.
Have you recently changed soap/detergent/fabric softener? Go for natural soaps like Sunlight for your clothes.
If you live in an area suffering from drought, there may be more chlorine and other chemicals in the water than before. This is what's happening in our area.

It could also be ringworm which is a fungus. Powdered sulphur mixed with lard will cure ringworm and athelete's foot which are the same general fungus. It will burn somewhat for a short time when applied. If you don't want to use sulphur, then any ringworm med will work, if that is what it is.
BTW, "lady part" got the point across but "vagina" is the word and you should not be afraid or ashamed to say it.

You better see another Doctor and get a second opinion. You may be having an alergic reaction or something. Change of laundry detergent, bubble bath or material in undergarb?
