Walking will bring on contractions, but they have to be steady every 5 minutes prior to going in. I had friend who brought on contractions by walking but when we got in the car to go, her contractions slowed down. Try going to the mall, walking around... The baby will not come until it's ready, so just be patient, enjoy your last moments of pregnancy, because you will miss it.

I had my first baby the week after he was due. I hope this one doesn't take his/her sweet little time getting the heck out of there. I feel for you, the waiting's horrible, but think about it this way: If the baby was supposed to be here already, he or she would be wouldn't they. And anyway, if you deliver vaginally, when the little jerk is halfway there, neither in nor out, and you feel like you're being torn open(how i remember it) despite the medication that you did or didn't take, you'll wonder why you couldn't just be content to let it be for another little while.

1. Don't use the Castor oil.
2. Be patient most due dates are incorrect anyway.
It's not like the baby is over due. Just carry on with your normal routines, and I'm sure your doctor will instruct you okay...Enjoy your last moments of peace, that's my advice...And Good luck!

Don;t get upset if the day ends and there is no baby yet. They have a way of knowing when it is time to be born. Be patient. Enjoy those last moments of being pregnant, I actually missed it after my son was born. Good Luck!!

Just let the baby come when he/she is ready. I was induced because they said that my baby was going to be huge and that it was my daughters due date. My daughter was covered in white stuff, which the nurse told me was a sign that she was early. About 2 weeks early. The baby will come in time. Just be patient.

Walk as much as you can. Other than that, just wait it out and enjoy the last days of your pregnancy. Prepare as much as you can for the baby. Write him or her letters for when they're older. Get some REST!!!
Keep in mind that due dates are estimates, not absolutes.

If you get concerned let your Gynecologist worry about it. Baby will arrive in his/her own good time.
What a wonderful time! Hope your husband is excited too
