Well, there's Yahoo! 360, of course. Create a page describing yourself and putting your blog up, telling what's important to you. Then go surfing from friend to friend of friend, etc., until you find people to invite.
Also, check out Yahoo! Groups. There are so very many groups, there's bound to be not one, but several, of interest to you. And of course, the groups all link to your 360 page.

Pretty much ALL dating sites ask the people to put in their hobbies, likes and dislikes.
