Unfortunately, those are very stereotyped views of the gay and lesbian communities. Just as straight people come in every shape, size, and type, so do gays. There are gay men who play sports and act just as macho as any straight men I know. They just act like men. There are plenty of lesbians who wear make-up, shave, and love skirts.

Sexuality is much like a spectrum where we are extreme gay or straight based on our psyche and not on the physical body.
So it doesn't matter how we look like on the outside, I might look very masculine on the outside but might have a strong feminine traits within, so it is a spectrum that's all.
By the way, researches suggest that the feminine gender is on the rise globally; as the X chromosome is on the decline in human species, so don't be surprised if in a few thousand years, we all just might be all females, no matter what we might think of homosexuality today.
But despite all this lengthy discussion about sexuality if you are a good human being it doesn't matter which end of the spectrum you stand on, extreme gay or extreme straight, if you are happy rest will be fine.
Though it is more tuff to be gay in today’s society than being straight, as being straight you don’t have to fight each day for gaining respect and dignity in a society that looks down heavily of gay lifestyle, many gay people simply live and die in the closet that I believe is the saddest repercussion of anti gay sentiments of the society.
The primary reason why most straight men hate gay people is because they are scared of a gay encounter, as they are not yet secure fully in their own sexuality, the reason most never get to explore their sexuality being trapped in straight jacketed gender identities themselves, further it takes courage to step out of the box and know for sure where do you stand on the spectrum and once you know for sure rest is easy, you get comfortable in your skin, don’t become squeamish when faced by the grey or the gay area.
Once we are secure enough in our beliefs we are free from all prejudices and fears. And when there are no fears we have nothing to hate either, as fears breed hate, when we can’t overcome them and fear is nothing but ignorance.

gender nonconformity. Sometimes the person had the gender nonconformity before they chose to be gay by an influence. Some children may become attracted to same gender and then form a gender nonconformity after the choice by influence to become a homosexual. They are separate issues. Not all children with a gender nonconformity become gay. Any child can be influenced to become gay. Some children forget. Most children are undiagnosed and untreated and do not have knowledge at young ages when all this happens.

Aahhh! The mystery continues... Life is full of these strange events and happenings. It does not seem logical the way the gays feature themselves - males dress feminine, females dress butch. But it seems to work. So, why ask why, just go drink a Bud Dry.

I guess you could also ask.....if a straight guy is attracted to women, why do some like a woman who wears makeup, styles her hair and wears frilly clothes? And why do some like a woman who lifts weights and builds muscles and wears jeans and plaid shirts?
If a straight woman likes guys, why do some like a truck driving mans man and others like the guy who wears the latest high end fashions and has a manicure every month?
PEOPLE are attracted to different ideals. I guess no one really knows what each one of us finds attractive....why should we judge? Let everyone enjoy their own turn ons and enjoy your own.

Only trannies dress like women. Gay men, in general, are not into guys who dress like women.
I'm a gay guy, but I'm also attracted to women. I am not attracted to men who dress like women. I like them for entertainment, like when they MC a party or put on a drag show or something, but that's it. (Don't give me any guff about my attraction to women- I'm NOT "bi" - I identify as GAY, and that's settled. I do not wish to argue about it.)
Also, gay men are NOT "women trapped in men's bodies." Biologically speaking, everything about a gay man is just as male as a straight guy. We are men trapped in MEN's bodies.
Love, Jack.
