Bulger is the safe bet. Favre is way past his prime and going against the best defense in the league. It will be a long day for him! Rivers could be good this year, but it is a big gamble to play him before you know what he can do. On the other hand, he is playing the Raiders so he could have a monster first game. Cut Favre though!

With the Bears defense, I wouldn't start Favre, so it would almost be a tossup between Rivers on the road against the Raiders or Bulger at home against Denver. Personally, I'd go with the guy with more experience (Bulger), especially at home.

Bulger easily. Best offensive weapons in NFL. Holt is the best WR, Steven Jackson is one of the top RB's, Kevin Curtis is up and coming. Pick Bulger, although hes facing a scary Denver D.

toss up between rivers and bulger. rivers has gates and LT to work with, but he's basically a rookie who has to start a monday night game away. bulger has the experience and is playing at home, but it's against a highly-ranked denver defense.

Bulger. Plays for the best passing offense.

Favre for sure. He didn't put off retirement to sit on the bench!
