Maybe its imagination but it seems to run better, anyone else find they think this happens too with their car?

Well you may have reduced the wind resistance and weight by an infinitesimal amount and may get some damp air in the air intake - other than that I cannot think of any scientific basis for this phenomenon.

it should be ur imagination or its u who may feel better driving a clean car! Not the car running better

When I clean my teapot, the tea tastes worse. It's all weak and tasteless. So, I don't think that cleaning necessarily improves performance. And the toaster works better when there's a load of burnt crumbs lurking in the bottom.

The drag co-efficiency is better with clean shiney paint..its not actually running better its just that the airflow is smoother therefore quieter and the so the car actually sounds quieter/better as theres less wind noise.
This is a fact.....to all the answers you had who thought this was a ridiculous question......up yours!!!

nah i think it may be your imagination getting the better the better of you but at least the cars look much better when clean

Yeah, the car is pleased with you so rewards you by driving better, same effect if you buy it new tyres, change the oil etc.
