I have read the news in different newspapers and networks from around the world.
Steve Irwin once said that he wanted the cameras to keep rolling no matter what, and that is precisely what happened, although being stung by a stingray can be dealt with, the way he got stung the ray pierced his heart, and when he took the barb out he caused even more damage.
Due to the nature of the video I dont think it will air on tv. for the sakes of the family, right now the video is being kept under lock and key.
I do think that at one time or the other they will show it or someone will steal it and upload it...that's what always happens. Sad but true.

I hope the film is shredded and then burned. I have heard that the family doesn't want it shown. I wouldn't pay a million dollars to watch that clip. It is just so disrespectful that people keep wanting to know about that clip--in my opinion. His family is grieving and so are his many fans and his country and everyone should just keep his wife and kids in thoughts and prayers and let him and his family be in peace. I wouldn't want anyone to want to see the death of any of my family members.

Obviously, it may be disrespectful to air the episode..becuase it's good for publicity and like if he gets a legacy award they'd want to show his last minutes.. I think it depends on whether the widow knows if he would've wanted that.. I don't know why but there's just a weird thing about him just dying while on set.. Like i would want to see how everyone reacted and stuff. but the risk comes with the job.

they said it was up to his wife and that animal planet will not air it! so it will be on the news if it is ever aired! just quick stats: only 20 known deaths by stingrays thoughout all of history and none in U.S. ! it is too weird!

I loved the Croc Hunter he was so cool. Although, many of us are fascinating with death. I feel that this is not the time to release it because of the long-term effects it will have on his kids.

I don't know whether or not they air that episode.
I guess you have to take a look at the animal planet website, and browse in the programmes menu
