she should be given a cash bonus and a days hol for saying what the rest of us think. it's high time these prisoners stopped being mollycoddled and had to live with the consequences of their actions. I only wish she had done more...

Veritas - releasing Ian Huntley is not an option under any circumstances, not sure if you are aware of his offences, you may like to look it up!!! in your country assuming that the USA he would be on death row!!
If an officer or member of staff verbally abuses any prisoner they can face disciplinary, but the events leading up to it would be looked into. Mr Huntley could make a complaint to the prison ombudsman who despite who he is, would have to investigate the complaint..

Nothing should happen to her. She's just had the opportunity to say to his face what we all think anyway. I know it was unproffessional but there has to be an exception here. She didn't ask for the press to jump on it and make a big deal of it for a start. I think it would be wise for her bosses to turn a blind eye to this and we should all just let it go away without fuss because the more the press make of any story concerning that evil d*ck the more the families of Holly and Jessica are being forced to relive their ordeal in the public eye again.

just a warning. OK, Huntley is an evil person but other prisoners may just be weak or mentally deficient, a nurse should not feel free to abuse anyone.

as quickly as I heard on the information my first theory became into i'm happy they have been given him in time - he does not deserve a fashion out. He merits to be identifying to purchase his crime - and the perfect place to pay is in penitentiary. They mentioned he had to serve 40 yrs - shall we desire they save an excellent watch on him. As for the ladies dad and mom i do no longer think of they elect revenge - their no longer that style of folk - they have continuously behaved in a dignified way - and in simple terms elect Ian Huntley to accomplish his penitentiary sentence.

I didn't know that this had happened. Wouldn't our current legal system have the nurse arrested, and Ian Huntley released immediately for the trauma he has suffered. In fact, if they got their timing right, the nurse could occupy his cell. Serves the nurse right, they are trained to be caring=nasty nasty nursy.

I don't know the circumstances, but no matter what he has done no one has the right to abuse physically, mentally or verbally another human being.
To think that it is a good thing takes away some humanity from all of us.

Promote her to director of nursing!!!
Then she can make it policy for all nurses to do it to him. And the goverment will have to pay for the training so that the nurses can do a good job.
They can make a new qualification...like NVQ level 3 in Abusing peadophiles and child murderers!!

Of course we can understand why she did it, but she whould have maintained her professional cool. I hope that she won't be disclipined; nurses have so much to put with anyway.
