Highly unlikely. Mankind is learning so fast it is frightning. When my father was born men could not fly. By the time he died men had stood on the moon, sent spacecraft into deep space and submersibles into the deepest ocean depths. The majority of that was achieved without computers and where computers were used they probably had the same computing power as your ipod or mobile phone!
Computers have given man the tools. We can expand into space and inhabit new worlds
