It is to flaunt their disgusting lifestyle and hopefully recruit,more people into their movement.
They want so much to be accepted as Normal that they even have laws protecting them .
People will always feel about them the way they want to .
You CAN`T legislate morality .
Please go back into your closets ,I don`t really want to look at you .

Because, for so long, living an openly gay lifestyle just wasn't accepted. As a straight person, I've never had to hide the fact that I was straight and pretend I was something other than straight.
Straight Pride Day? How about a "Help the Homeless" day? Or a "Donate to a Food Kitchen" day"? Or an "Abolish Racism" day? Or a "Child Abuse Prevention" day? Or a "End Drunk Driving" day? I could go on and on, but I think you get my drift. There are alot of ways we could all make a positive difference in the lives of others. The key word here being "others".

You can have a Straight Pride Day for all most gay people care. It's just that the straights weren't creative enough to think of it first, I guess. But, if you want to put the time, effort, and money into it, then organize a parade. Have fun!

There was a mayor somewhere who declared straight pride week, because he had to declare gay pride week. I think the gays then complained about straight pride week. The proclamation could have started 'Whereas the very continuation of the human race depends on heterosexual relationships...'.

Simply cause people dont get cast out for being straight so many people do for being gay. So they have the right to have a day where they can all get together and be proud of who they are. (yes they should always be proud of who they are everyday)
They deserve it for all the things they have to deal with. Straight people dont have to deal with bible beaters telling them they cant be straight like they tell the gay community.
Besides arent one of the 10 commandments : "Do not covet."? Which means Don't want what others have.

You may just envy how much attention they get on one day that you don't on your 364 straight pride days..

As with all minorities,I think that they need reassurance that they are not alone,and that everybody loves them.
The rest of us just get on with our lives,we plod on,we are to busy living our lives to worry about marching through the streets to show everyone else that we are Gay,Black,KKK,Anti abortion,Anti war,Anti this,supporting that.
