It is a 2 hour drive. However, the roads are pretty unpredictable there and a lot of road construction is going on. Riding on a Jamaican road is an experience. The road is 3 lanes and cars might be in any of the 3 going any direction. The amazing thing is the Jamaican drivers work it out smoothly.

It is a beautiful scenic ride from montego Bay to Ocho Rios! It takes approximately 1 hour 45 minutes. I was there in July and the roads which are being totally repaved and widened are near complete! So it may even be quicker.

Ocho Rios is approximately mid-way between Montego Bay and Kingston. It is about 70 miles from either town. The ride will slip by real fast though because of all the lush scenery. If you drink beers, I suggest getting a few for the ride because Red Stripe beer is the best when you are in Jamaica! It puts you in a real vacation state-of-mind :).

Jamaica is beautiful..go there and have a blast!!
Check out the Chukka Tours...they have lots of fun adventure (you can get a brochure at the hotel/resort you stay at or just look them up online).

Have a fun-filled trip!!! :)
