For an assignment, one page is generally only the front of a piece of paper, about 250 words. But if you are not sure, it's better to overachieve then do less than what your teacher is requesting.

teacher's preference. my English teach said that a page is front/back then my Spanish teach said it's just then front, and nothing should be on the back. If it's just notes or something, front and back. make it front only if it's something important to turn in, such as a bookreprt, or research project. otherwise, don't waste paper.(btw, my history teacher uses the back of one page, then the front of the next one, making one big page. and that just notes.) better to just ask the teach, really.

Let me explain ti to you this way. One page is the front just like books. Two pages is the front and the back.

No I would say that one page is the front of the page double spaced (usually about 350 words).

It can be either way unless the person you are working for or your teacher tells you otherwise.Just do whatever one you usually do for him/her.
