What's your motive? Small business? Personal?

You can learn coding, it's not too hard for the basics. And you can create it on your own computer before you launch it.

HTML is the foundation and used to 'mark up' the page, things like bold, paragraph and italics.

CSS is for the base look of the page. The layout, color scheme etc.

JavaScripts are for several things like drop down menus, things that add a little movement to your page.

PHP is for interactivity. Made of modules, this is for forums, guest books, user interactivity.

There y'go, a quick summary on website making.

Sounds like you are just learning to set up a website. Well I am too.

I've been playing with the tool that Yahoo has and if nothing else it's giving me some ideas on how to put things together. Setting up a website something like Yahoo isn't going to be accomplished on the very first try. I think it's a bit like art. You have to practice to be good at it. Take a look at the following.

On the Yahoo home page, on the right hand side, look for Small Business and then click on Web Hosting. You'll need to download the Yahoo software tool and you can fool around and get some experience in setting up a page before you ever have to pay for anything or post it to the web.
