iam in the 8th grade and i like a 12th grader no big deal..wow hes 17 and iam 13....and hes four grades higher than me :o wooooooooow!

No, it's not illegal but you guys live in 2 different worlds. It's strange but his 4 extra years of life experience at your age of 13 is a world of difference. 10 years from now it won't mean a thing but now his level of education, physical and mental maturity, emotional experiences and facing problems you haven't make you 2 incompatible for the long run. His goals and your goals are unbelievably different. He's thinking about graduating and going to college. You're thinking about when you can go out next and how you'll brag about your b/f to your g/fs. You don't believe this I know but you can really get hurt by this type of relationship in many more ways than one. I'd be thinking a different direction if I were you.

it is illegal if you are not 14+, after 14 you can date someone 5 years older then you(that is have sex) to date, it doesent matter,but that mens you can't kiss till you're 14, its considered as sexual harrasement. how do i know this? my moms a paralegal, she gets cases like this all the time, the 13 year old girl's mom or daddy sewing the older guy

Its not a illegal to be dating, its just illegal to be married. You can get married if your parents like sign something, but it IS legal for you to get married if you move to a 3rd world country, which is very drastic and i wouldnt recomend it.

If he was 18 and you had sex that would be considered statutory rape which is illegal. But otherwise I think you're ok. Keep in mind that he may only want sex from you.
