I have the same problem. Everyone tells you to use the spam feature, but alot of stuff gets through that. Personally I dont think you can stop it. You could create a new account that would initially slow it down but you get beseiged with "new account" stuff or "welcome" crap. I've tried everything and get more then 100 pieces a day. Some smart person needs to develope a way to filter out all that junk 100%. Good question.

I don't know of any way to put a complete halt to it, but there are some things you can do to help:
1. cl Tools
Internet Options
cl Delete Cookies
cl Delete Files (offline)
cl Clear History (you can set "days to store history" to 0.
2. In Yahoo Mail:
cl Options
cl General Preferences
Set number of files to view per page to about 25. This way you can quickly scan the list of senders. If you do not see anything that landed in "bulk" in error, cl the "check all" button, then cl "delete." They will be gone with these two clicks.
If any junk goes into your inbox, cl the box in front of sender, then click SPAM. That address will be blocked from your e-mail. There is a limit of the number of addresses we are allowed to block with Yahoo Mail. Last I heard it was about
Go to this link and read how to set filters and blocks.

direct them to the "bulk mail" folder and empty that daily
Perhaps you can stop entering your e-mail address to websites that you visit unless absolutely necessary....
get the free mcAfee SiteAdvisor, This will let you know when you are visiting spamming websites.... Some websites can read cookies in your temp folder and spam you with junk.....
