I mean, the way she dressed herself up, all the make up she wore, she sometimes looked like a $3,000 a night hooker. People who do that sometimes meet bad ends, perhaps as a result of God's judgment on them. Why does the media never play this angle?

she was a child her mother encouraged the dress up,no person deserves that death anyway,Gods judgment had nothing to do with this it was a sick individual who is to blame and to be quite honest your thinking is a little scary

She was a six year old child you ignoramus. Her parents dressed her up like a "$3000 hooker" for child beauty pageants. Wrong? I think so, but "asking for it?" Please. God's judgment? You should be ashamed of yourself. The media HAS suggested that parents who put their children in these types of pageants need to be cognizant of sexual predators and they are right. This still does not put a child in the category of "asking for it." A sexual predator is a disgusting criminal, period, and there is no quarter given because of how the victim was dressed, etc.
You obviously subscribe to the idiocy of thinking rape and murder can be condoned because the victim was "asking for it." That is one of the most ignorant phrases ever created when applied to crimes like rape and murder. If a woman walked down the street butt *** naked, NO ONE has the right to assault her for ANY reason. The perpetrator would be 100% at fault. Bad taste doesn't justify someone of bad character (to say the least) attacking them. Men who use this as an excuse are the lowest form of human beings. In addition, anyone who thinks it does justify these types of acts is severely lacking in moral character.
I don't know you (thank God), but it seems you are the type that might use a date rape drug or rape a girl who's passed out at a party and thinks he can justify it. I hope someone's keeping an eye on you, anyone who can ask a question like this seems a step away from being a sexual predator themselves.

Shame on you for disgracing Jon Benet. Disgrace her mother who put Jon Benet in the spotlight dressing her like a mini tramp. Jon Benet at that age would of been perfectly satisfied to dress like the average American girl, playing dolls and having tea parties. You would make a bad news anchor, reporting rubbish.

What the f*ck are you talking about? That little girl was 6 years old! That whole beauty pageant thing Jon Benet was made to participate in was Patsy Ramsey's twisted idea.

the media never plays that angle for 2 reasons.
1) some words that would describe that are innapropriate to speak in the media and 2) she was a little girl, and many people (especially her parents) would be offended by them poking fun at the way their daughter dressed and looked after she died

i dont think jojbenet was asking for it,thats a terrible thing to say,she was just a little girl.i do think the adults dress the kids up in a rediculous way,they exploit their kids,pushing them into these competitions wether they want to or not for their own selfish reasons.but that little girls gone now forever,she was beautiful and exploited and now theres i gap where that now sixteen year old would be.its a shame and it really sticks in my throat that we will never really know what happened to her.what six year old child is asking for it.they see the world with total innocence,not knowing about all the dark and terrible things that go on.i still feel very sad for her.

That is pretty twisted thinking. She was just a child. The media is guilty of a lot of things but they have not stooped that low. And, God would certainly not condemn her, in his eyes she was an innocent child.
