At random my windows xp will go to a blank white screen and everything is frozen can't use ctrl+alt+del. Nothing has to be turned off and rebooted. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this or why it happens?

It can be caused due to HEAT SINC .Contact your vendor IMMEDIATELY

There are a LOT of things thta can cause this. The data on the HDD may have gotten corrupted. You may be having an overheat issue, especially if the system starts beeping. You could have a block of memory going bad, there may be driver issues, there are a lot of things... I would take the PC to a qualified technician and have it checked.

Unfortunately, this behavior can have many causes.

The white screen is unusual, you have have problems with your video card or drivers.

Your computer may be overheating, check for accumulations of dust which block air flow.

I have seen systems with power supply problems that have behaved similarly.

You may have to see a computer technician.
