Family owned resteraunt. They can be small and cozy, urban, trendy, or upscalish.. but their food is some of the best. Most of their recipes have been passed doen over the generations and a lot of the family work in the kitchen to insure freshness and quality. It's the best way to taste some authentic food from other countries since the people who own the resteraunt probably immigrated over here.

I like a restaurant where I am greeted, seated, and there is linen and china on the table. Flowers and candles are good. The menu can be exclusive or expansive. There may be a view, but I don't like sitting next to the loo.
My ideal spot has seafood and steaks on the list.

5 STAR!!!!! Victoria and Albert at Disney World's Grand Floridian Hotel is fabulous. It takes 2.5 hours for a multi-course meal with wine pairings. The food and service are superb.
