Pornography can be disturbing. But remember the stuff you see on those things are "acted" out, its all carnal and artificial. They do not involve what really matters between two people who love and care for each other.
Obsessing on what you see on **** can become unhealthy. I think the reason some view it as a sin is - it shows humans in an animalistic nature. Something dark within us.
For the young adult or adolescent, one should remember - that's not all there is in sex. Do it with someone you love, else it will be meaningless - and eventually leave you feeling empty and tired afterwards. Do it when you're ready mentally, emotionally and to some very importantly - spiritually.
God allowed sex... its something wonderful. Its a gift. How you view it, and go into it determines too, what type of person you are. Pornography goes against what sex was made for, but its up to you how you dwell on what you saw.
Perhaps you two should talk about it. How you feel, what you think or believe. Be open minded, but that doesn't mean giving up on what you believe.
