as Linda says, "When I was a teenager, I thought that I was a mature individual. I pondered things that no one else my age seemed to ponder. I read books that no one else my age read. I made friends more easily with those who were older than me. But, despite the fact that I had some huge mental growth spurts from life experiences that most other people my age had not experienced, I was still wet behind the ears. I realize this now because I have had the pleasure, or rather displeasure, of dealing with some young people recently. I find that the way they respond to the world is largely defensive and rebellious. I look back and reflect upon that exact behavior. But it’s not only the relationships with younger people that makes me aware of the differences between age and maturity. It’s actually my interactions with those who are my own age. People around my age, or older, are more accepting of a difference of opinion and more apt to agree to disagree when it comes to conflicts. Generally speaking, that is. "

Maturity comes with age to most because of their experience. They learn something new, from there past mistakes. Its like when you make a error on a math problem and you correct it. You learend something new. You gain wisdom. Maturity also comes from people, you see the mistakes others have made, so you don't make those same mistakes.
Maturity comes from life experinces. For most because some people just never grow up, they stay kids there whole life.

I think because they really don't know the meaning of maturity.
Maturity does not mean old and gray. You can be very old and
never really matured past your teen age years and you can be
very young and have a better grip on life and view things in a
whole different light. Some people work harder at their body
then they do their heart.

Age does no longer make certain adulthood, someone's' personality is what determines adulthood. on the ageof 9 i replaced right into a really mature youthful female even as different ladies properly..rlly..RLLY werent. i know a woman who replaced into VEry mature on the age of 10 even as no longer many young children are...convinced.. I have little ones in my highschool who're the most immature beings alive it honestly relies upon on the peronslaity, no longer the age

It sounds like it should. But really --
"A person's claim to age and maturity depends upon the use that they have made of their time and experiences"------a quote from Jane Erye, written by Charollette Bronte I'll never forget that.
