Did you mean HOW MANY?. Also what do you class as old Egypt? Do you mean in Pharonic times?
I live in Egypt and I don't see as many here as I did in the UK. We have little jumping ones. I was told that in the banana trees there are large ones, the only time I saw a tarantula was in west Indies. I did have a HUGE one in my house about 3 weeks ago, biggest one I have ever seen. I HATE them.

Hi fire fox. I don't know much about spiders. In fact, as a girl, I really am afraid of them. But I just saw your question and wanted to say how much I like old Egypt. Your question may be hard for people to answer, but I am glad you are here to ask it.
