Some pointe shoes tend to make a tapping noise when on pointe.

I think all of them are pretty loud. I mean you are dancing on wood. Ballet is supossed to be all graceful and beautiful. Not when you sit in the front row. haha.

Bloch's and Grishko are both pretty loud.

and pointe shoes are not made of wood. they are made of many layers of canvas and paper held together with a very strong glue. Pointe shoes are then baked. then covered in either satin or canvas to make them pretty.

Bloch because they have a bigger box and u shouldnt hoose you pointe shoes based on sound u should choose them based on the fit

My Bloch Sonata's were one of my favorite pairs until I grew out of them...but they were LOUD! People thought I had tap shoes or something. Excellent shoes until you want them to be quiet....

Have Freeds make you some. Having your dance shoes made for you beats the problem.

probably Bloch pointe shoes cuz in my opinon they sound like tap shoes lol :)
