If Bushy had said, "Saddam is evil and he is hurting his people and we should invade Iraq and stop him," it would be different. Some people would have supported that. Not most of us, but some.
That's not what happened. The country wanted revenge against Arabs, any Arabs, regardless of whether they were connected to the 9/11 attacks, which Saddam wasn't. Bushy could have been the voice of reason. Instead he will go down in history as an inept fool who lied us into a war we did not want, who threw away all the international support we had after 9/11, and who is unable to think or speak effectively.
Saddam is a villain. Who could doubt that? But Team America had no right to invade. None. It destabilized global politics, it is ruining our economy, and it is wasting American lives.

Can I have what you are smoking? No liberals think that. Saddam needed to be removed from power.
What I'm upset about as a liberal, is that we never finished the job we started in Afghanistan.
The Taliban is now back in control of 1/3 of the country. Our "ally", President Musharraf has withdrawn his troops from areas that support and harbor the Taliban.
The Karzai government is nothing more than the mayor's office of Kabul. Every few months they have to come here and beg for the money we promised them.
Another problem with the Iraq invasion was the lack of post-war planning. Billions of dollars of reconstruction funds have gone missing. The gentleman who was in charge of the transitional government, instead of being asked where the funds went and charged with gross mismanagement, was given the chair as head of the World Bank.
This administration knew that they needed more troops and more better planning. Instead, they derided and punished those that didn't agree with their rosy view of the invasion.

Liberals never said he did nothing to us, nor that he was a great guy. What they said was he wasn't an immediate threat, which (surprise!) was true. What Bush said was (surprise!) a lie that he was an immediate threat and had WMDs.
Bush probably cried of joy so he could pawn off his gross incompetence on "removing Saddam" being the real reason we went.

Yes, because it showed some success in that war. The Liberals want us to lose so they can criticize the President. I am truly amazed the American public cannot see that. The Liberals also want the economy to go bust, again, so they can blame the President.

You're kinda dumb, aren't you. Oh, that's right, you're a Bush supporter. So what have YOU done to make this country safer and better? Starting a war, by the way, does not count.
