rape is rape and molestation is molestation. The article says nothing about rape. You did.

The law doesn't work that way. Members of the general public cannot overturn a legal decision merely because they are against it.
However, with enough support you could change the law of Nebraska to allow tougher sentencing on child rapists.
But it won't get this particular child rapists back into prison.
Anyway, that is assuming he is guilty, how can you expect people to cooperate without providing further details with regards to this case? For all we know this man could be innocent. You have told us nothing! There are other rights to be observed here as well. Being part of a witch hunt mentality is very dangerous when you don't the specifics to the case.

you are just hearing about this now? where have you been? yes the first answer was right, it was a judges decision to grant probation because the molester was too short to survive in prison, so she said. isn't that the most ridiculous thing you have ever heard? i guess he should have thought about his height before he committed the crime. anyway the nation was outraged when it became popular news, the last i heard it was overturned by a higher court and he was indeed going to prison (unless anyone else has heard different?), and you'll be happy to know that the judge that gave probation was publicly chastised by other judges as well as the citizens for her ridiculous ruling

I would be willing to email but would have to have an actual newsbrief, with the story intact. There is no way that anyone should sign this petition, without knowing the details of this case.

This type of stuff gets me sick. You can rape a child and get probation but, if you don't pay your parking tickets, you can go to jail. Justice is truly blind.
