I completely recommend them. Besides their obvious stated benefit, they have completely helped in reducing cramps, clearing up my skin, and making my cycle more regular.

Just keep in mind, they do not prevent STDs. You will still need to use condoms.

They will come with instructions about when to start taking them (often it is the first Sunday after you begin your period), but each brand is different and your doctor can help you pick out the one that is best for you!

There are some people who just cannot take them, so keep an eye out for side effects and keep in close communication with your doctor when you begin. Most will have you try the pill out for three months and then come back for a follow-up exam.

If you are a young healthy sexually active woman yes i do recommend birth control pills. I also advise condom usage because as you likely know the pill only stops pregnancy not sexually transmitted disease. Why both is if the condom breaks you do not want an unwanted pregnancy

Why not try an implant instead......try "Implanon" its a hassle free implant which expire after 3 years. It secretes hormon every month, which could help you to avoid pregnancy.

ask ur doctor but the safest is tell ur partner to use Condoms, its the best, hygine n safest thing to do.....
