I can see why its not the most popular. Although bowling is one of the most participated sport, that includes just the casual open bowler only bowling once a year too... And a lot of people would consider it a game, not a sport.... I think its both, depending on what level your talking about. I'm on 2 leagues, and ones more a night out, like I'll always try my best, but i dont really care how i do, cuz its a fun league... My other one most people on there would considerr it a sport cuz its more competive, including matchpoints, etc.
Anyways, since a lot of people do consider it a game, that could be why. I dont really care one way or another, i just search for the bowling questions...
Like I said, I could understand why bowling is not on there, but curling??? I mean curling cannnot be any more popular than bowling. No offense to anyone who might curl, but come on... I started getting into it a little bit w/ the olympics, at least I know what the sport is now, but before that I barely even heard of it!!!
Ok, done ranting, but bottom line is who knows???
Oh another thing I meant to mention was that they cannot possibly put every sport down, and although those that bowl want it, the interest may not be there... But again, curling?

I would consider it a game rather than a sport.
In the same category as miniature golf or darts.
