Depends on the wife, dontcha think?
I would say that he should show how well he knows her by understanding what it is that she needs at that moment, either to be left alone, to have someone to talk to, or simply be her punching bag for the moment. That's kinda your job, ya know?
And if HE is the reason she's perturbed, grovel. Grovel like you have never grovelled before. And diamonds, don't forget diamonds. And maybe some brownies. Everybody loves brownies.

A good husband is careing, supportive and will help you resolve whatever is makeing you upset. He should hug her and tell her he loves her and everything will be ok.

it depends on the personality of the wife herself. we can't generalise all into a simple category as being gentle and listening may not work for another. i think u may get some hints when both of u are in the courtship, that may help.

The reason for her upset has to be find out. Interacting and counselling may be the way to tackle . Moreover the sexual interactions will resolve everything.

He should ask you what is wrong, and be very passionate, loving, considerate & understanding about the matter. If you are upset about something that he has done, he should sit and talk it over with you!

Listen with open ears. Let her talk. Be compassionate, but not overbearing. If she then wants to be left alone, let her have time alone. But the big thing is to just listen to whatever is bugging her. Communication is SO important in marriage.

All men are different so there is no standard way that a man will treat a woman.

Well in Arkansas...A man can legally beat his wife, but not more than once a month. So what I am trying to say, is that where you live makes it more relative.

Leave her alone... and ask her at a next better time what's upsetting her. Chances are she will give a verbal diarrhoea when she wants to talk.
