You mean yahoo tool bar, click the view tab and toolbars and uncheck the yahoo bar.

You have to go to the add/remove programs part in the control panel, and find the one that says yahoo task bar and remove. I am not a computer pro, but I just did the same thing like a week ago, because it was slowing down my computer.

Go to the control panel on your computer. On the list in the control panel it says add/remove programs. Scroll down to the bottom of that list where you see yahoo tool bar. Double click on that and then click on ok. To get to the control panel Click on start then settings if you have windows ME or win98. On XP it says control panel on the list when you click on start.

Temporary removal..... right click the top of your browser window and uncheck yahoo toolbar.
Permanant removal.....goto your add/remove programs, scroll down to "yahoo toolbar" , select "uninstall"

right-click on the gray space on the top besides your address bar, then uncheck "yahoo toolbar".
