i recommend SYMANTEC pcAnywhere! (v12 is the latest version)... it is not that complicated to use.. the good thing about it is it's as if you're on your pc (remotely) when in full screen. it can support DSL, LAN, NAT (public and local IPs) and also WEB-based connections. an upside using this software is you can remotely control MULTIPLE PCs at a time!

Teamviewer/Logmein oftentimes do not act as a hop for information transmission. they basically set up a consultation between you and the server, and then your pcs take the most direct route between one yet another.

if you have a static IP on your office PC then you can use Remote Desktop which is part of Windows XP.

Nothing is better than http://www.realvnc.com . I have to agree with another user here. I disagree with pcanywhere (stay far from it) and other microsoft products.

there is more than one solution , i ll give you 2.
1- you can get a special software to do that like pcanywhere, or
2- you can use he built in application in windows XP mstsc,
in both u should have IP address , user name and password

you can do that by telnet, go to start, run, then type "cmd", after that, type "telnet and the IP address of the other machines, for example, "telnet 192.168.1.1", make sure that you enable the telnet service (if it's not enabled) on the computer you want to telnet.
