Green Day Rocks! Let me put that right up front, but it seems as if Mike just doesn't play that bass guitar like he did when the band was new. His licks seem stunted and unenthusiastic on the latest releases, including the awesome live Bullet in a Bible CD. Is there any good reason that anyone knows about for this?

i reckon ur right like longview was great coz the bassline to that was awesome he only has little things like that in the newer albums or maybe billie joe and tre just got better so u cant tell when mike plays really well lol

I think green day rock too but i don't think there is anything wrong with Mike dirnt's playing or nuffing i still think it's still good.

Because they've changed their sound. They're not as up beat punk as they were to begin with.
