This is the one with Tom Jane. What did people think? I really liked it and am really hoping for a sequel.
Should a sequel be made? If so what should happen?

I defintely thought The Punisher was brilliant and John Travolta made a brilliant baddie. Too right there should be a sequel

I love that movie! We own it and watch it at least once a week. If you are looking for have no mercy action, this is your movie.
I dont think a sequel should be made. I think it ended fine. He killed the bad guys and now he is a ghost that walks among us, righting wrong. We are left to wonder, is he here, where did he go? A sequel would be too much of a good thing. Like eating a bowl of ice cream and it was so good that you go back for another one, but the second bowl is never as good as the first.

The Punisher is a 2004 movie, based on the Marvel Comics character, starring Thomas Jane as Frank Castle (The Punisher) and John Travolta as the gangster who orders the death of Castle's family.

Can't really complain about that movie......It was pretty good compared to some of the ones i have seen. Certainly not the best one but in no certain terms not the worse.....Sequel would be good but i hope they do not try to bring in so much people and some characters just for comic relief.....

More solid in explaining how punisher came about as opposed to dolh lungrens version, also less camp than that version, all in all a good film, just weird seeing travolta as a baddie, but one for the collection. defo. in the sequel he should become like a one man a-team. being hired to get justice when the cops don't give a crap, but he doesn't accept money, just requests goodies like techno stuff. a vigilante. but the story should intertwine with some crime gang or kingpin gangster he faced when he was a bobby on the beat.

Loved the Punisher film especially the fight scene with the Russian.
I have heard the sequel will be made and I think there was some rumors it may have one of the marvel villains in it so maybe Kingpin or Bushwacker

Excellent...played with a lot of "tongue in cheek"..end sequence where the cars form the Punisher Symbol is ultimate in Comic Book cheese but still does not spoil the film.
