there are two type of brains left brain and right brain. left brain execute the only recorded things like which u mugged up in ur school and which u have been taught by ur teachers and mom and dad this is only 27% of total brain.
while right brain which is creative, imaginative and imotional. which 73% of ur total brain. so if activate ur right brain u will become most intelligent in the world.
some exercise to activate ur right brain:
1)Brush ur teeth in the morning with left hand.
2)Write a poem daily (not bookish) to make ur brain more imaginatve
3)write 1/2 page daily with left hand
and do some meditation

Note:wat ever we do with left hand give more stress on ur right brain and watever we do with right hand give more stress on left brain

I like to read and do crossword puzzles.I absolutely hate doing math but I still look over it and study it a little.I have to use a lot of math to count carbohydrates in the food I eat because i'm on a special diet for my diabetes so that keeps my mind jogged.Eating healthy and exercising physically also help me think clearly and I tend to remember things better also.

We do not need to exercise our brains physically, the other organs health determines the health of our brain.
You can mentally exercise your brain through deep thinking exercises, such as riddles, math equations, soduku, crosswords, etc. If you wish to exercise your brain mentally, try going to you nearest grocery store (or 99 cent store) and purchase a small book of crosswords or soduku. You can find them on the small magazine shelves near the cash registers. Best of luck!! :)

If you want to exercise your thinking then find a quiet place, concentrate on your breathing (in a seated upright position, more for preventing falling asleep if nothing else) and gain focus, then let your mind attack an issue that's been on it for a while. You need to take time to think.
Also math questions like proofs(trig identities, etc) and Olympiad type questions that require intuition and then logic to solve are great.
Stuff like word games, chess and crosswords help too.
