I live on Sydney's Northern Beaches, on the east coast of Australia. I often walk down to the beach and watch the sunrise. It's such a breathtaking beginning to the day. If you're feeling down, it's almost like a promise that things will always get better.

Yes, on my Wedding Day! The sunrise was beautiful and I got some terrific pictures. In addition, a friend designed a calendar for that year and it is so beautiful. It was clearly a soul cleansing experience.

Especially when camping. We went up to Lost Lake just two weeks ago. I hiked down to the lake to get some pictures of the sunrise. An eagle soared over the lake, and scared some loons which were out on the water. The loons started to wail their eerie call, which echoed over the water, through the early morning mist. What an awesome experience.

Yes. My wife and I often get up early enough to make the 2 hour drive to the Maine coast and watch the sun rise over the ocean. I can't say it's really soul cleansing but it sure is pretty.

We don't go so often now that gas is near $3/gal though. :(

When I was stationed in Korea my wife and I took a trip to the east coast of Korea and got up really early to catch the sunrise. It was a very beautiful experience. I cant say that it cleansed me in any way but it was a very romanitc moment.

I do this every day from April to October. Then I hibernate a little bit in the winter. When I can watch the sun come up it starts my day off right. I feel in tune with the Earth.

I go to the beach or to a park that is on the Biloxi Back Bay.

I was about 5 years old in the 70s. My mother woke my sis and I to go watch a sun rise. We went and sat on the cliff of one of the beaches in our city. It was amazing at that age, I don't know about soul cleansing. But I will never forget it.

i have executed both, besides the very undeniable reality that i did not wake the guy as a lot as watch the damage of day, we basically stayed up all nighttime. i might want to favor to observe a damage of day, because i have considered 1000's of sunsets, and so has each body else, while a damage of day seems so a lot more desirable particular and intimate. on the different hand, i'm truly no longer a morning human being, so the surely way i might want to favor to observe the damage of day is that if I had stayed up all nighttime, i'd not awaken for it.
