Oooooooo, ouch.

I got in to that position once - you cud just let her down gentley and say that there can only be a certain amount of people. but make sure you give her some kind of compensation like invite her to dinner one nite or invite her round separately.

well in the first place you must not let her know about it coz she's not invited.next time, avoid letting her know about your parties which are only for close friends of yours. maybe you should talk to her and tell her about the fact.

(if she keep attending parties that she's not invited but you're involved in the party, maybe she secretly admires you and just wants to get your attention...)

What makes her think she's invited? Did you somehow give her that impression?
