I've been with this guy, hes so nice sweet n romantic. He even sing a song. But hes in a gang and I hate that a loot. Is it ok for me to tell him to choose between me or the gang. Because he said he was out of it already but i still keep getting signs thats obious that he's still in it. or what should i do.

Could be dangerous for him to actually leave the gang. Most gangs, that's the way they roll. You can never leave. Maybe you should just try and be open and undersatnding with him. Try and talk about it with him. Then you will know what is really going on. Get closer to him if you really like him. Bad choice to make him choose between you and the gang, he may not even have that option.???

I'd think the singing is more worrying than the gang lifestyle, but I think it is a reasonable request. Tell him how it makes you feel and why you don't want him to be in a gang.
He may find it hard to leave the gang whilst staying in the area, what are you offering? Would you be willing to go somewhere else with him? Its all give and take.

It is okay to make him choose, but they are never out. I don't know about gangs today, but in my youth once you're in yuo don't get out unless you're dead or badly beaten. Don't put a huge demand on him. Talk to him nuicely if he's willing to listen maybe he'll leave the gang. But in my experience he'd have to leave the hood or leave the state to get out. Depends ont he gang too. Some are very well organised.

come on manz get a life,, tis is the year 2006. getting in a gang is not cool anymore... like to ask, if u r in a gang, u went to macdonald together u still have to pay for ur food rite. gang is for small little boy. ask him join a mafia group instead.. u will earn money in a mafia group,, a gang will only know how to fight n no income..

The bast that I can say for that is to be straight up front with him. Tell him that you don't like the thought of him being in a gang. tell him why you're afraid of that thought. be sure to use a lot of detales so that he will know just what you mean and not think that you are tring to be the big boss.

i dont know how easy it is to get out of a gang, but the fact that he lies about it to you, and not even a good lie if its obvious, is a sure sign that you should find another guy, one who isnt in a gang to start with.

gangs engage in violence, illegal activities, and many of the guys are very aggressive or treat women as sex objects. If your guy takes on any of these characteristics I think you need to ask yourself, should I stay with someone who condones this? who he hangs out with is an indicator of his beliefs and morals. is this what you really want?
