The chemical in dipillatories (hair removers) is very irritating to skin and what has happened, simply put, is that your skin has been chemically burned.
You need to treat this condition like a burn. Do NOT put vaseline on it. Be careful about using any other products (like lotions or creams) that have fragrances in them...these can actually further irritate your skin.
Cool compress (ice wrapped in a thin towel) for 15 minutes may help. Aloe Vera gel may help. Applying Vitamin E oil (take a regular Vit. E capsule and pierce it with a pin and dab the oil on the area twice a day) will help it to heal.
Unfortunately there is no "quick" fix for this. You've burned your skin and it needs to heal. I caution you about using this product again. Your reactions could continue to get worse each time you use it.

Hi have you tried an antiseptic cream like germolene or savlon, The only other way is to but vaseline undersome foundation and try to hide it. I dont think there is any other way the more you mess with it the worse it will get, its best just to leave it and keep applying vaseline. All hair removal creams burn the skin even if you use sensitive, your skin must be too delicate to use them, and is weak which is why it hurts as much now. Have you tried, Silky Mit, its a little round disc that smooths away hair on your legs but i know you can get them for you face, Superdrug sell them. But i would give up on the creams in furture.

Whatever else you do - STOP THE VASELINE!!! It is a grease and will form a thick layer over the wound meaning that air can't get in and heat can't get out and it'll just take FOREVER to heal! Vaseline is the last thing to put on a wound like this! Just leave it open to the elements and save the vaseline for more fun pastimes!

Visene for eyes will help with the redness, but soreness, I would use an ice cube. Are you menstruating? If you are hair removal is not a good thing during your period. YOu ar sensistive on your skin and that will happen. The problem with Visene is it takes time to take the red out.

Use aloe vera it is very soothing. Next time though use a wax strip it is more painful in the short term but you wont get the after effects like you do with a cream. Have you tried bleaching? It's easy with no pain.

Ice, cold cold ice for about a hour. It's too late if you're leaving, but always in the future, right after you wipe off the cream, apply cold ice in a papertowel to reduce the burning.

uhm use aloe vela it should help a great deal. Next time, why dont you try something else maybe like that microwave wax that they sell at walmart and it just peels off. I use that and it comes with this cream thing you use with it. just follow directions. Don't ever shave your upperlip because then you dont want it to get thicker. Trust me, this girl did that ...not a pretty result!... Goodluck!

Rub tea tree oil on it and that will take away the inflamation.
In future to remove hair do This:
-----------
break a line off a "Kraft Singles" processed slice of cheddar cheese and place it over your moustache,
blow it with the hair dryer on hot for a minute, when it start to melt, press it onto your hair lip.
Then get an ice cube and rub the chees till it gets quite cold and hard,
Then in one swift motion, rip it off !!!
HOPE THIS HELPS

I swear by Organic Tea-Tree & Manuka Cream made by Tisserand. This works fast and has cleared sores and rashes no other cream has helped. Available at chemists.

It doesn't work. Years ago a dermatologist told me to shave and that it is actually good for your skin; it works plus you do not get all the skin problems with hair removal stuff.
