Ignore what quite a few here have said- Even with the considerable talent of Matt Dillon (who was great at comedy in There's something about Mary') You, me and dupree is average at best. Kate Hudson looks uncomfortable throughout the whole film as her role is basically that of disapproving housewife. Micheal Douglas probably agreed to be in the film after seeing what Robert De Niro did with Meet the parents but the mishaps by Owen Wilson in this film are just relatively cliched inconveniences.

As the people in this film are a bit older it doesn't have the charm of American Pie but also the sweet, sentimental parts are more forced than in The 40 year old Virgin. It doesn't have the fun of Wedding Crashers either.

If you haven't seen 'Cars', see that. It's been described as a cartoon version of Doc Hollywood. It starts off very flashy, then the characterisation becomes key when he ends up in a small town. It's not laugh out loud funny but it doesn't need to be.

Going by what Empire rates all the current movies at the cinema as (and they're usually pretty reliable).. you're best bet would be Maimi Vice (4 stars)

"RV" is a great movie. This movie is still at some theaters or it can be rented. It's a great comedy. Also the movie "CLICK" is a modern day version of "Its a wonderful life." This flick will make you laugh and cry.
