the pitcure is bad. grafics look terrable. any ideas

You can visit http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp and see if they have any current drivers for your display adapter
IF not you will need your graphics cd, It comes together with your Windows operating system....

Go to your GPU (Video card) manufacturer's website and download the most recent drivers for it. Follow their instructions to install them. Reboot. Problem solved, hopefully. ;)

go to properties settings check your color and resolution probably to low change these settings to 16 bit medium and resolution to 640x 480 this should improve things experiment with the settings here for best picture quality you won't do any damage. and can resort to previous settings anytime you like.

install the correct graphics driver and adjust it by right clicking on desktop and select properties
