Why would he be someone to admire? He was a maniacal dictator who killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people simply for being the "wrong" ethnicity.

I dont see sane people saying he/she admired Hitler's values - but in terms of the way in which he brought Germany out of it's Depression (methods seemingly adopted by FDR) was successful. So, no, I do not admire Hitler's values or him as a person, but he was dedicated to bringing his country back up.

Good question..Hitler was a visionary an opportunist, who was perceived by the beleaguered masses as something of a new messiah, at the beginning of his chancellery anyway.
In a perverse way, i actually admire him, for his will and determination. Of course he was the supreme totalitarian despot, but that aside, he had the balls! to stand-up to Germanys oppresses at the time (America & UK mostly) and revolutionise the German economy. Plus he hated the Jews, so he wasn't all that bad!

Certainly! For being the worst asshole in history! He showed us all how NOT to live. A negative inspiration to generations.
He is the biggest piece of eternally suffering charcoal in hell now.
Scream, Adolf, scream louder! Buwahaha!

morons like you i suppose. i lost a majority of my mom's side of the family because of him and the concentration camps. he killed millions of people and they suffered ever so. i have personal interest in this subject and i hope one day you do some reading on this matter. this would require you to have a heart and soul though for reasoning with compassion.

I don't admire him but understand how he came to be. He was a combat vet subject to a gas attack. Don't expect anyone, especially a child with a dark childhood, to act normal after that.

I don't admire him, but you can see why he rose to power when he did , read your history books and you will see that he was looking after his own race. There are more dangerous leaders around now - Bush , Blair etc

He invented motorways (highways) they are good.
But other than that he was a fascist monster who wanted to kill my Grandparents and therefore me. ( My Granny was a Londoner in the Blitz and my Grandad was in the Navy.)
Its wrong to hate Germans though, for the war I mean, it was so long ago! Its perfectly OK to dislike them for not understanding British humour or pinching you sun lounger or for thrashing England at football!
