buffon, bcuz no player allowed goals for against the team. the first "goal" was a own-goal. didn't count. the second goal was a zidane penalty. in other words, no player could beat buffon, or should i say teams. u usually see a goal wen som1 passed the ball and other shoot, GOAL!!! but that nevr happened 2 buffon. the closest was beasly, but it was called offsides. so buffon is the best.

I wish Coupet had played, because he would have been the best. But since he didn't, the best goalkeepers were Ricardo and Lehmann at the World Cup. Coupet should have played, because he would have annihilated everyone! He's completely amazing.

The Italian guy was the best(I forget his name), if you saw the Italy games you'd know why. Lehmann from Germany tried hard too, but I think Oliver Kahn if given a chance would've done a better job and made Germany win the cup. The French guy had his catches but overall he was NOT outstanding.

I THINK SO LEHMANN
BECAUSE THE BALL IS COMING ONLY TO HIMSELF AND HE IS SAVING REALLY GREAT
IF HE WAS NOT SAVING THEN THE GERMANY WAS GOING TO LOSE IN THE STARTING
STANDING IN HIS HOME TOWN HE HAS REALLY WELL IN ORDER TO MAKE HIS TEAM WIN
BUT HE FAILED
I THINK SO OLIVER KAHN WAS ALSO GIVEN CHANCE THEN THE GERMANY WOULD HAVE SOME CHANCES
IF U R TELLING ABOUT THE WELL PLAYER IN A WORLD CUP ITS GIANGULI BUFFON

Portugal's Ricardo definitely. If he wasn't standing at the gates, who knows, maybe Portugal hadn't even reached Round of 16.
