Have you heard the song Bachelor boy by Cliff Richards - that was a great favourite long ago - here it is and don't bother about what people say about having sex or getting married or whatever - the important thing is for a person to have a great time while he is alive and well - and as for children - you will one day fall in love and you will have children or alternatively you may adopt a child or two and perhaps you will find that children are always the same and respond to love and care whether they are your own or someone else's - so say what Alfred E Neuman (Mascot of Mad Magazine) says "What me worry" and carry on merrily along the path till you feel like treading a different path - All the best and always remember to be kind, gentle and loving .... and here are the lyrics ...
Bachelor Boy
Written by: Cliff Richard / Bruce Welch (1962)
Album: Summer Holiday (1963)
Chart position: No.1
When I was young my father said,
"Son, I have something to say."
And what he told me,
I'll never forget until my dying day.
He said, "Son, you are a bachelor boy,
And that's the way to stay."
"Son, you'll be a bachelor boy,
Until your dying day."
When I was sixteen I fell in love
With a girl as sweet as ca be.
But I remembered just in time
What my daddy said to me.
He said, "Son, you are a bachelor boy,
And that's the way to stay."
"Son, you'll be a bachelor boy,
Until your dying day."
As time goes by I probably will
Meet a girl and fall in love.
Then I'll get married
Have a wife and a child and they'll be my turtledoves.
But until then I'll be bachelor boy.
And that's the way I'll stay.
Happy to be a bachelor boy
Until my dying day.
Yeah, I'll be a bachelor boy.
And that's the way I'll stay.
Happy to be a bachelor boy
Until my dying day.

There's nothing wrong with it at all. People are so narrow minded thinking if you have no gf, you must be gay. I'm single, and I love it. I've done the marriage thing twice, and the next guys balls will have to hang in diamonds for me to say I DO again. Oh, by the way, I do have occasional sex, hardly anything to write home about though. LOL ~~

Come here...............awww closer
.................................closer
BAM BAM BAM I just hit you on the head with the "Boy are you outta your nut?" Is it that you have a "f*ck buddy" who "no strings attached" takes care of your normal needy needs?
Now come on you cant say that your not coppin a nut somewhere sometime even if its a lone. Maybe you have gone through the "male menopause" and have very little need for copulation? Are you sure it even works? Maybe you just don't want to bump uglies? Maybe all the women around you are really ugly puppies and your a tom cat?
Who knows? You say your a straight man who maybe is just too lazy to put any effort into the job cuz your afraid of rejection? Maybe your not gonna get any anyway cuz your grossly overweight and smell like vegetable soup?
Maybe you should take a look at both you and those around you and if the words "scarey pie" come to mind? Then stay single and keep away fro them boogedy boogedy boogedies

there are a lot of women out there who would love to get married and/or pregnant so they have money they don't have to go out and earn. My ex sister in law was married 3 times before the age of 25, got along with her fine, but knew her game. Self centered me person, and latched # 4 soley for status and the ability to go shopping!!!!! I am female, but understand why some men don't like yourself. gotta do whats best for you, and if its in the cards, the right one will come along, or not.

Could there be a possibility of a fear of commitment ? When you meet the right person this might be a bigger problem. Is this an issue you could explore with a professional ?

I think it is admirable, sounds to me like you are waiting for the right person. I think you had some past experience in the relationships area that were not so pleasant and you are just being discerning.

Being a mom of a 35 year old bachelor, this does raise an eyebrow. However, he may be turning into a religious person so I wouldn't worry about it.
