I stayed too long at a job because of the perks. I had great time off benefits - instead of having to wait for 5 years of service to get extra vacation/sick time they added 2 days of time every other year, you received one number of days that you could take off during the year - you didn't have to split it between sick/vacation/personal, you could take as little as 1 hour off a day, they matched 5% for your 401K plus the safe harbor. Rumor has it that now the 401K's are 100% vested immediately, including their portion. Although the benefits were great, the job was boring and all my boss gave me were empty promises.

Yes, as a matter of fact there are enough perks that I will stay with it forever.
1) I work from home
2) I am self-employed
3) I have all the tax breaks that big companies do.
4) I have a product that is changing peoples lives
5) I help others become self-employed
6) I travel several times a year...which is my passion
7) I earn more than I ever could at a regular job
9) I create leverage and residual income
10) I've taken care of my fathers retirement

And much much more.

If the perks are not interesting in your job, why would you accept the job in the first place?
