I rented it and did not like it at all. First person shooter, not great for someone who likes the traditional, turn-based team battles. Took it back after one day and not buying it. Gamespot gave it a 6.5 or something like that.

I have heard that it is a FPS rather than the FF series RPG one might expect. I have also heard that as a FPS, it is rather poorly constructed, at least from the point of view of an American - over-complicated systems with too-fast action - and that the game does little to advance the story line of FFVII that we all knew and loved way back when.
Alas, a rental, I'd say.

Every review I've read of DoC has basically called it a poor quality cash-in on the FF7 name. Sounds like a rental.

i could propose renting it. To me, the optimal weak spot of the sport is the controls. except in case you hook up your keyboard and mouse (i've got faith it rather is achieveable), the controls make it complicated to play. As an FF fan, you may savor the storyline, yet you should remember that that may not a common very final delusion game.
