No, politicians are the same everywhere, they promise you the world before the election, and when they get into office, they can care less about what the people want, it is what they want that matters. Recalling them is of no avail, because of public apathy.Unless the majority of people unite , politicians will rule supreme, and do what they want.

You`ll see at the next elections, all the two-faced, political power hungry, satanic creeps, will be out walking amongst us having their photos taken with babies, and talking to the young about things they don`t have a clue about.
Watch them run like hell when they see a nurse, pensioner or people over fifty looking for work, approaching them.
Show me an MP who says "I promise, etc" and I`ll show you a two-faced liar.
There seems to be only one party who is listening to the people and they are beginning to grow, slowly, but they are growing and they are not labour, tory or lib-dem.......
BNP, love them or hate them, they are getting growing support, and the other parties know this.
People have had enough it seems of the Tories, Labour and Lib-Dem.
This country sure is mixed up.

They only listen (or pretend to) before an election, and also promise to listen when they get elected. After they come to power, they don't need us any more till the next round.

Democracy is now largely a scam that clothes totalitarian type puppets who are in turn controlled by unseen banking cartels. Our puppet governments will listen to the people only to the extent that is needed to give credence to the sham and prevent revolution.
I believe that an unadulterated US Constitution holds the key to global Democracy and Peace - but before we have that we need to remove the power of the bankers and their puppet.

During the campaign period they will listen to anyone, once elected a strange force overcomes them and the outside world ceases to exist, at least until the next election....its kinda like a cycle.

They would listen to you before the elections and do not care about what you need after that. It is politics, dirty game, most of the people involved are professional liars and know very well how to speak!

If you remember, the first 2 years of Clinton, all was going well. Support was in the works for health, child care, oil reserves...and then we ( Yes, Us ) voted in a Republican house and senate...and look where we are now. Vote out all imcumbents, get some new faces in there, and remind them if it keeps going like it is, we will throw them out TOO!!!!!
Vote Dem this election, it HAS to get better.

Governments listen to the noisy minorities and anyone else that can make a noise. They suck up to anyone who can keep them in office, they never consider the silent majorities, the ones who shout, "Finish the fuc,in job." The tree huggers are noticed, the media make certain of that. Imagine a newspaper that really reflected your inner views, you know, that truth that you cannot tell anyone you feel. "Eff off you stinking rag heads." That sort of gutty reaction, the silent majorities reaction.

a democratic government will have to make society happy with them otherwise they lose power. usually to make society happy the government has to listen to the people. However, the government can do its own thing and still make the people happy.
Always look at the history of a party to vote, don't rely on what they say they will do.
