Using a laptop - touch pad, I am trying to highlight a portion of work to change the font, but when the curser reaches the bottom of the page, it zips real fast and highlights everything else. It is SO fast I can't stop where I want it to. How do I adjust the scroll to go much slower and not zip to the last page in one second? I don't have a manual.

Have you tried holding down the SHIFT key and using the cursor keys?

Up and down catches a whole line at a time. Left and right catches a character at a time.

It'll feel a bit odd at first, but in time you'll probably do it that way instead of using the mouse because it's so much easier :o)
