My absolute favourite at the moment is actually a French comic (go figure) from Lewis Trondheim and Joan Sfar called "Donjon" or "Dungeon" in English. The artwork is fantastic and unlike any other comic style out there right now. The storytelling is hilarious and translates really well into English. I think it should be an animated series but some of the jokes are WAY too adult for kids.

MY favorite would have to be a title fro DC comics called The Legion Of SuperHeroes. I found that, when I looked past the powers and the futuristic technology, there were aspects of the characters that I could relate to on more level than I could characters in other titles. Team book have always had a special appeal to me, and that one in particula always caught my atention. I can still remember the first issue of it I read, it's one of those things from childhood that still holds me.

I mostly like tokyopop and shonen jump manga. My faves are Fruits Basket- I love the main character's ditzyness and all the Zodiac members are great! There is a lot of mystery and deep thoughts.
Yuyu Hakusho- Cool fighting yet has an interesting storyline. Plus some parts are so funny I could die. Adding Hiei and Kurama to the mix also makes ita lot more exciting.
Neck and Neck- hilarious with a love square.
Never Give Up- even more hilarious romantic comedy.A girl who has the body built of a guy and a guy that looks girly. Not to mention a model who falls in love with the girl that looks like a guy!
Naruto- good fighting scenes, and there is Sasuke.
D.N. Angel- The love square is enormous, plus Daisuke is a charming main character, not to mention Riku Harada. Dark and Satoshi are also the best.
Girl Got Game- girl has to pretend to be a boy to be on a basketball team. Really funny.
,hack//- a bit mysterious and sad. i mostly watched the anime.
I.N.V.U- good interaction between cahracters.
Magical x Miracle- Magic galore! The main character is a girl who has to pretend to be the master wizard of her country, even though she is really bad at magic,
Nausicca- The ending almost made me cry! I really like the main character. She has a good heart.
.remote- Cool mysterious detective that wont go out of his room and a pretty girl that has to work for him. Lots of detective stuff
Tokyo Mew Mew- The story line was so good but the ending was awful! The main character, Ichigo, ended up with the wrong guy. =( Ultra Cute- It's so funny how the main character and Noa are always fighting!
Marmalade Boy- The story has the perfect couple.
Petshop of Horrors- mysterious yet interesting. You can't help falling in love with Count D's pets!
Vampire Game- Magic, murder, the reincarnation of a vampire(who is quite handsome) and a snotty princess that's fallen in love with her captain of guard. Who wouldn't love a story like that?

Ah well that depends on my mood. The Sandman series is generally my favourite. I just love the concept and it makes me laugh.
However when I'm looking for comic book heros it has to be Spiderman. Peter Parker just never seems to catch a break (not one that last anyway) and he still keeps on going.

ALL of DC and Marvel Comics are my favorite because I can relate to them, I love to read them, and most importantly, I love to see them come to life in the big screen.

"Nexus" by Mike Baron and Steve Rude.

This series has it all - science fiction, action, romance, humor, drama. The main characters of Nexus and Sundra are fresh, and the supporting cast is easily one of the most colorful in comics.

Check out the Dark Horse hardcovers reprinting the entire series. You won't be sorry!

Green Lantern. There are many different stories to read about all the Different Green Lantern Characters. I know he's not a popular superhero but just give him a chance you'll like him or all of them.
