A man said that
he saw a lake with three corners
each corner has three trees
each tree has three branches
on every branches he saw three birds ?

now the Question is how many living things are there?

There are 3 corners
3x3=9 trees - they're living
3x3x3=27 branches - they're part of the trees
3x3x3x3=81 birds - they're living.
... and, of course, the "man".

So the puzzle mentions 9+81+1 = 91 living things, if you choose to count the man. Hey, he's living too, no?

Of course, if you really want to get picky, there are countless billions of living things in the world. Most just aren't mentioned in that puzzle. :)

There are many ways to interpret this.

First, there are countless millions of billions living things in the whole world.

Second, the man said he saw, not he was seeing so there could be any number of living things present when he said he saw it.

Thirdly, the man has countless bacteria in him and they're all living too.

Fourth, if you're not being picky, then the man is alive (1)
The lake is not alive (0)
The corners are not alive (0)
The trees are alive (3*3=9)
The branches have already been counted as trees (0)
The birds are alive (3*3*3*3=81)
So that gives the man+trees+birds=1+9+81=91. Note that this is the most likely answer.

Fifth, the lake could be teeming with life that the man did not see.

Sixth, the man could be dreaming.

The fourth answer is probably right.

Number of birds = 3*3*3*3 = 81
the man , so total living things >=82(there may be more though not counted)

4 because of the guy and the birds

or

2 because the man he told it to because it said he saw a lake meaning he might not be at the lake so i would saw 2 because of him and the person he told it to.

actually, i think tomodachi is right, since the man SAW the lake, he is not actually at the lake at the moment, but you kinda have to take into account the person the man was talking to, so i say 2.
