It is the human nature. Humans since the beginning of time have prooven to work in a certain manner. They strive to satisfy their needs. Needs are prioritized by urgency. If there is no urgent need in being green today so why waste the resources. Wars to secure existence have a higher priority. People and governments will turn green only if "not green" poses a tangible threat to human existence in the short term.

We cannot photosynthesise easily; it is not as easy as it used to be. It is so hard to dig deep into the dark recesses of earth to find nutrients that are so scares now a days. And then stay standing all day long with leaves stretched out for the sunlight. Sometimes often we run out of water and get scorched. Then there are the people who are always at the look out for us to fall down, and then that goat of the neighbouring farmer. We are just a peaceful tree people. We do not mean any harm to anybody. We mean to do only good, but it is so hard for us now!

Because you are not green.

You may think your adopted change is helping but it isn't.
Until governments battle and control money, business will ruin your insignificant input for the whole of your lifetime.
Additionally the amount of energy used will be more than if you never bothered.
Being green is profit for someone.
If it isn't they don't want it.

Because plants have monopolized the "green" market. Then a human trying to be green will get nothing but disappointments.

I find greenies unrealistic. the only way the world can solve its problems is by continued production and trade. Human kind just isn't compassionate enough to stop all things and look after the earth.

I wish their goals were realistic though.
