when you apply henna on your skin do you have to wrap it?

if yes, is the reason why you wrap is to warm the skin in order to help open the pores to absorb more henna?

thanks

First of all do not use black henna. It is vey dangerous. go to http://easyhenna.com and on the left column are links about the dangers of black henna. As for wrapping henna, the whole point of wrapping henna is to keep the henna paste moist longer to get better color. You can achive this in many ways. You can wrap the henna after application with plastic wrap, you can seal henna with a henna sealer or you can do a combination of things. The whole point is again to keep the moist henna on your skin for as long as possible. Go to http://www.shopbeachcombers.com FAQ page and they have a bunch of info in henna sealers as well as how to make henna tattoos last longer and be darker.

It depends.

If you're using the natural henna (green powder with water to form a green paste) which turns red on skin, and using it on the whole hand, you have to wrap it. Not to enhance the absorption or to warm, but to protect your furniture and clothes (it takes long time until dye the skin).

If you're using the chemical henna (black paste), and using it to draw a design, you should not wrap it. wrapping will ruin the design, and anyway it does not require that long time to dye the skin like the natural one, 1 hour is enough

Henna is person-friendly and subsequently better on your hair. It comes from a plant, in assessment to the chemical coloring healing. in case you decide directly to have healthy hair, pass with henna, whether would desire to you decide on a a lot wider sort of hues, do chemical.
