Hey there,

I'm buying parts for a new computer and I have/going to have a Gigabyte S-series AMD motherboard, 256Mb Leadtek 7600GT graphics, an AMD AM2 Sempron 3400, 1GB Corsair XMS2, DDR2 and an 80gig maxtor HD.

Would a 580 watt power supply be too much/not enough for such a setup?

I'm fairly new to this building game so i'm too worried about fatally mucking it all up..

thankyou very much! Turns out I don't need as much as 580 watts, (300 is the minimum recommended!).

I'm gonna pull out all the stops anyway and have a kick *** pc by the end of the month! Thanks :)

each element on your laptop makes use of a definite volume of capacity. it rather is not sufficient to purely get a 450 watt capacity furnish. There are 3 distinctive voltages aspects with the help of a capacity furnish. each of those ought to have the flexibility to furnish what you like. between the main important determinates of ways lots capacity you like is the quantity of ram memory you have on your gadget. it rather is not all approximately gadgets like CD roms.
